During university semesters the three main meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner are served from Monday to Friday; two meals of brunch and dinner are served on Saturdays, Public Holidays and during semester/term breaks. Pantry staples (bread, spreads, cereal, milk, coffee, teas, Milo) are provided daily in our common dining room which our residents have access to 24 hours, 7 days a week.

All bedrooms at Albert House are fully fitted with a king single bed and mattress, wardrobe, drawers/bedside table, study desk hutch, chair, lamp, fan, heater, shoe rack and full-length mirror.

The bathrooms throughout Albert House have undergone full renovations and now provide our residents with clean and modern amenities. The bathrooms are cleaned weekly by Albert House staff/contractors so our residents have one less thing to worry about.

Friendly Staff

Albert House is a family business, owned and operated by the Tan family – Steven and Hui Yan Tan (the original entrepreneurs of the business), and their daughter Pauline Tan. Being owner-operators, the Tan family takes great pride in being hands-on in their approach to providing a quality yet personal student accommodation offering to the International student market.

Albert House provides live-in supervisors, both male and female, who all hold current Working with Children Checks, so our residents can feel safe and secure that there are responsible adults available in the event of any after-hour emergency.

Secure Premises

Entrance into Albert House is secured through a secure entry system through which our residents must swipe a designated fob to enter the main doors. In the event that a resident’s fob is lost or stolen, the fob can be immediately cancelled on the system preventing any unauthorised entry into the building by anyone in possession of the missing fob. In addition to this, each resident’s bedroom key is a security-cut key which requires authorisation from Albert House management in order to have copies made, preventing anyone from making copies for unauthorised entry into residents’ bedrooms.
